*"Two regular characters joined the Farscape universe in the first year, Chiana and Scorpius. Chiana was a guest character in "Durka Returns". Once we saw the dailies with Gigi we knew we had a terrific character beautifully played, and we weren't about to let her go. I'd hoped to include Scorpius in the series from the beginning but production reasons forced us to introduce him toward the end of the first year. As it turned out, this allowed him to make a much more powerful entrance, and dovetailed perfectly with the wormhole technology plotline we'd developed to conclude our inaugural season." *Source: Back of card
