*Kai Opaka reveals the tear of the prophet. Before Commander Sisko can say anything, the mysterious orb transports him back to the moment when he first met his wife Jennifer on Gilgo beach. When he returns to the present, Opaka tells him that nine such orbs have appeared over the last 10,000 years, and the Cardassians have stolen the other eight.
