Telling a story: This unattributed concept poster (front) for THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK tells part of the film's story through small vignettes, some based on Ralph McQuarrie's paintings. It has a certain photo-realistic and luminous quality. While the trilogy didn't play the Soviet Union on its first run, it came close as this poster (back) from Finland shows.
