"Almost Colossus, Part 1"

Follows the events of Hellboy: Wake the Devil. In the aftermath of Liz Sherman's encounter with the inert homunculus, everyone fears the worst. Having gifted the creature with her 'spark of life', Liz's life is slowly fading. The hunt is on for the creature to see if the process can be reversed. Meanwhile, Hellboy and Kate Corrigan investigate a phenomenon in Romania, where cemetaries are being robbed of the freshly dead. Up on a nearby mountain-top, the creature later known as Roger descries his existance, wishing for an end. He is approached by another creature who claims to be his 'brother', telling Roger that both of them were created by the same alchemist, and that he has collected their creator's secrets, and plans for a great gift to the world. Meanwhile, Kate and Hellboy stumble upon a hidden lab with a 6-story tall oven. They are suddenly beset by an army of small creatures.

"Corpus Monstrum: Autopsy in B-Flat, Part 1"

Benedict and Lawrence St. George are out on a mission hunting vampires, but they pass the time with Lawrence telling a story about his retreat on an island for the purpose of film writing. Lawrence is visited by spectres of sirens, squids, and the pirates. He channels his fear into the writing of his next piece, "Autopsy in B-Flat".
