Overall, there is some wonderful stuff in here. The art is simply beautiful. I think many would call it clean and simply, but it does a wonderful job of conveying emotion, which is what these four stories focus on. The stories themselves are not related in any way, which was probably the thing I was most disappointed with since each leaves you wishing you could see how the characters resolve their problems instead of being teased with the info (or more accurately, the reader is left to imagine the resolution). Very good, although dark stuff, and Tomine is a young creator to be watched.
