as far as I know they are putting the covers on now but not sure, I could be wrong

CCL, is this official? Is this what we should be using? I believe Valiant said to save this when he used it in one of his submissions.

Well, I knew Sirs and MMD have been talking about images like this they've submitted, but nothing was ever really stated on what to do with what has been thrown out there. Should we still submit mature covers without images?

I think this is a bunch of crap. Censorship is a bunch a of B.S. If you're adding adult titles to your collection then you more than likely already have the adult comic or comics in your possesion which are far more graphic than any cover. And the fact that this is online means that it's quite possible that when you think someone's just looking a their comic collection and comic releated stuff, they could actually be looking at porn and other graphic content that can be found anywhere. I mean it's the internet home of mass amounts of free porn. I say if you don't want your kids expossed to graphic comics don't buy them for them. You might also want to unplug the TV, computer, disconnect the phone, and stop letting your kids go to public school, because like it or not graphic adult situations are everywhere. Talk to them, let them know how you feel & listen to what they have to say, don't just go all bible thumper and start pretending to be Tipper Gore. The truth is that it is comic art whether you deem it appropriate or crude in your opinion, but remember it's only an opinion and this is a comic collector site. Hence there should be no censorship, escpecially if the adult covers inquestion feature no nudity. Then what's the problem?

To be honest I think CCL could cover their tails just by putting a warning upon entry on the site that comic art nudity may appear on the site.

only thing if Joe wants it to stay this way it is his software, of course we can use our own covers for our individual comics in our datbase

there's alot of things that I don't agree with that have been done but Joe seems to try to please as many as he can and keep it peaceable at the same time. As long as he keeps it free and I can put in my stuff I could care less what he does to it. Joe always has seemed fair to everyone so far so keep on keepin on Joe.

As long as I can add the actual title to my collection, I could care less if the actual cover is displayed or not. My catalog is accurate whether the cover is seen or it isn't. Plus, the software is free, beggars can't be choosers.

That's good to hear cux I have some issues pending addition to the DB that are being scutinized for being too mature but that feature no nudity. I also have to say big up to Joe for making this whole thing happen and keeping it free.
