I really don't want to see Wally die, but if I got to choose how he dies. I would like to see him die with one super speed punch with Zoom.

Wolverine would have to go out in a blaze of glory. Flash fried is the only way. A one way trip to the sun, or the heart of a volcano. Of course he would have to take his opponent with him when he bites the big one. I'll hoist a Labatt Blue in his name!!!

I didn't even want to post nidan, because the thought of Wolverine dead is just too horrible Boo Hoo!
But yeah, I'd hoist one for Canada's favourite son as well (Moosehead of course though!)

I don't think Marvel would ever kill Wolverine, or Spider-Man for that matter, unfortunatelyNot Talking . They're their cash cows. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I would want Hal Jordan to go out saving Oa and the entire Green Lantern Corps from a Parallax controlled Sinestro.

Surely the fact a character is our favourite means we wouldn't want them to die in the first place?

I think the only way to really effectively kill Jamie Madrox would be to push him in a pit of lava...if he tried to duplicate, his dupes would burn too. But I don't know how Madrox would get to a lava pit...

My two favorite characters have already died. Warlock and Capt. Marvel.

One's already been resurrected and the other is going to be soon.

Really, I kinda thought of the opposite. Spidey was always big when he started because he was like the regular guy, with regular problems and things never seem to work out for him, and I always thought his death should be the same. Nothing that you would expect from a hero like dying in a great battle or while saving someone but, in some unfortunate fashion from some hard hitting life shattering events that kinda makes you feel sorry.

I want Galactus to die just as John Byrne had intended in the Last Galactus Story featured in Epic Illustrated. This story was never finished, but here is how it would have ended. I can't remember where I got this from, when I got it I just copy/pasted it into a Word document, so I can't cite the source, but here it is anyways.

THE LAST GALACTUS STORY

MDT: The Epic Magazine folded due to many reasons, but one of its legacies it left dangling was the end of a story that never came: The Last Galactus Story. In a Marvel Age interview in 1988, you talked about the lingering nature of that story and about possibly publishing it at a later date. Then I remember reading about 6 years ago about how, because of continuity problems (Nova dead, Galactus' history changed) in the current Marvel universe, that that story would never see an end published to it. Essentially making it like the joke without a punchline in Breakfast Club. Can you talk a little about how that story eventually fell into what seems to be permanent limbo? Has there been any talk of reviving it in the last five years? What would you like to see happen to it?

JB: "The Last Galactus Story" is pretty much dead, at this point. Too much has happened, since, as you note. Mostly, alas, writers playing off the cliché I was trying to undo - that Galactus always loses his Heralds for one reason or another. I thought it was kinda neat to show that Nova was still his Herald, billions of years in the future.
For the edification of your readers, though, this is how "The Last Galactus Story" ends"
Galactus battles the Watcher who showed up at the end of the last published chapter. This turns out to be the same Watcher who witnessed the "birth" of Galactus - yes, that was not Uatu - and who has been driven insane by his guilt over all the deaths that have happened because, as he sees it, he did not snuff out the nacent Galactus when he had the chance.
As the two battle, over millennia, the universe basically dies around them. The stars burn out. No "Big Crunch" of everything collapsing back onto itself to be born again. Entropy wins over all. As the universe verges on flickering out of existence, Galactus draws into himself the last shreds of energy, giving him just enough of an edge to defeat the rogue Watcher. But then Galactus and Nova are alone in an empty, endless void. The universe as we know it is gone.
Galactus finally understands what it's all about. What he's been doing all these billions of years. He cracks the seals on his armor, and all the energy he has absorbed spews out of him. He becomes, effectively, the Big Band of the next universe. Nova survives - and herself becomes the "Galactus" of that universe, the cycle beginning once again.

I find it hard to say, because I dont have ONE favourite character, I have at a minimum of 3 or 4.

The Punisher
Frank would have to die with honor and in glory, go out guns blazing, there is no other way he could go in my opinion without me being very upset.

Wolverine
Same way as the punisher really. Going out in glory more than guns blazing though.

Spiderman
He can't die. It just wouldnt be right

and on another point, why are Marvel so currently obsessed with killing some of their main characters at the moment? Im looking towards Cap' at the end of the civil war, Silver Surfer requium, and some others?
Is it symbolizing the start of the end of Marvel Comics? Or is that me just getting overly paranoid?
Please tell me im getting paranoid...

I don't see Iron Man dieing in battle. He'd be in a hospital bed either from injuries from a battle, or maybe some ailment (alcohol poisoning?). Marvel of course would drag it out to sell books. He'd slip into a coma and all that.
Favorite Heroes:
IRON MAN
Thor
Captain America
Silver Surfer
Nova
Batman
Green Lantern

I liked the Jokers death as well!

Liked Ennis's version of Punisher and Hulk Deaths
Gaimans Sandman Taking his sister's hand cause he was tired!

I would like to see Spiderman squashed like a bug!
Wolverine chained&humiliated and left to rot!

That's how I see it too.

I do not want any of my favorite heroes to be killed off. If someone wants to do an Elseworld Tale, or a What If, about the death of one or more of my favorite heroes, fine, but leave the main universe(s) characters to their regular life of endless heroism... please.

And just what is it with the focus being on killing characters these days? It seems to be getting worse every decade. Soon, the entire list of superheroes will be killed off every year in one event or another. That sounds incredibly lame to me.

Just how many times can you buy into a resurrected character? And, if no one ever really dies, where is the impact of killing another hero anyway? Just cheap and lazy writing if you ask me.

Batman – I’d like to see Bruce Wayne interrupt a criminal mugging a family of three and actually be able to save the family, but getting shot in the process.

Captain America – Steve Rogers gives up being Captain America, enlist in the military, gets sent to Iraq and is KIA (a more meaningful death than getting hit by a sniper while handcuffed)

Spider-Man – Spidey is by no means my favorite, but I can only see him dying of old-age and passing on his costume to one of his mutant kids.

Punisher – Hail of bullets – end of story. Or hit by a cab while crossing the street, just a freak accident.

Wolverine – F. How do you kill Wolvie? Maybe old-age? Like an animal, when it’s his time he just wanders off into the Canadian wilderness. Next day Scott Summers is calling all over the X Compound. “Wolvie! Come here Wolvie! Logan, come here boy.” And they never see him again.

Superman – Get lost in a cave and power down, trip over his feet and break his neck.
