There were two reasons I picked this issue up. The bigger one was that Damon Hurd wrote the second story. The lesser reason was that it was a Decimation tie-in. Well, kind of.
The first story was about Mesmero (who I had no clue was even a mutant) and how he was dealing with his lost powers. The art was a painted style that I really liked. Hurd's story was a little too confusing for me as it focused on an old man who thought he was a super-hero and it all went away. The problem is I'm just not sure if we were supposed end up thinking the guy was crazy or if M-Day had an effect.
