Aunt May Experiences PMS Years After Menopause

That is the best part of this story! Mysterio has everyone confused, even me. Not sure what is real and what isn't (I know it's a comic book so nothing is real).

For the first time in my years of reading Amazing Spider-Man I hate a story arc. It is hard to displease this fan, and I am trying to like this Gauntlet thing, but it just isn't clicking for some reason.

I sort of liked the Sandman thing, the Electro story, and even tolerated the dumbed-down Rhino, but this arc is just getting weird.

The only thing in this issue and the last that I even remotely enjoyed was negative Aunt May. She tore in to Peter and then chewed out Harry Osborn, and Peter's cousins. Those few panels were funny, and I enjoyed them the most. The rest of the Mysterio thing is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I seriously thought about stopping my Amazing collection, but I have too much invested to stop just because of a bad arc. Is it just me? Am I just in a bad mood? I am not liking this at all.

The art bothers me, the writing bothers me and the story bothers me. I am having a tough time with this one. Oh well, after getting every Amazing Spider-Man and the variant covers for years, I can't stop now. I'll keep reading to see how this turns out (as long as I don't die of frustration first).
