Begrudginly I give this book three stars. It's not that I'm saying that anything in general about the book was grossly mediocre, the thing is that this 4 issue mini-series is looking like it should have been at least six books. The angle with the Phantom Stranger seeking aid from the Lords Of Order and then being stripped of his powers is kind of lame. By this I mean what panteon are the Lords Of Order are they Arc-Angels or from some other religious order. It seems that the stranger was given his powers and immortality to right the wrongs that the Stranger had committed by the One-God. Things I truly liked about the book was Jenet and Bruce coming to the Strangers aid. Who would of thought that fire-demons could be driven back or harmed by a jury-rigged plasma rifle. The art is kind of choppy, but considering the duo on pencils/inks it is oly to be expected. Overall I would so-far recommed this min-series highly to Phantom Stranger fans. It can only get better, the story plot has to.
